The Aleutian cackling goose is a small goose which breeds throughout the Aleutian Islands, wintering in parts of California and smaller numbers along the southwestern Oregon coast. The bold white neck collar is the calling card of this small goose. This goose is no longer abundant in aviculture where only a handful of pairs exist. Their diminutive size and easy going demeanor make an for an excellent aviary denizen!
