The coldest temperatures of the year have not deterred the black-necked swans from nesting! While many of the aviary inhabitants are comfortably sequestered in warm, climate-controlled holding areas as the last of these cold days and nights pass, the swans are busy gearing up for raising a few cygnets again in 2023. The first egg was laid yesterday, and we can expect 2-3 more in the coming days.
