The raggiana bird-of-paradise enjoying a fresh slice of watermelon this morning. Birds of paradise have a polygamous breeding system where males congregate in leks to entice potential females enjoying the elaborate, over-the-top displays. Once all of our birds are of appropriate age, they will be kept in the same manner. We are looking forward to the show!
